Construction: Microfiber Wholesale's Microfiber Sponge is a great multi-purpose sponge. It's a double sided sponge. The microfiber side (blue) is similar to a terry style cloth. It is made from a blend of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. In addition to the 360 GSM microfiber side, the scrubbing side of the sponge features fibers of stiff polypropylene which help loosen soil and stains without scratching most surfaces. The microfiber side of the sponge is great for wiping down surfaces after you’ve scrubbed them clean. Between the microfiber is a thick 1” sponge. The two types of microfiber are joined together with tough overlock stitching. These are machine washable microfiber sponges which make them a great alternative to other sponges that you might use a few times then throw away.
Uses: Our Microfiber Sponge is great for kitchen use. Use it to wash dishes, scrub baked on food in casserole dishes, clean off the stove, then use the other side to wipe down the counters. You get the functionality of a double sided sponge with the cleaning power of microfiber. It’s also great for bathroom use especially for jobs that need something more aggressive than just a microfiber towel like getting globs of toothpaste out of the sink.
Method: One of the great things about microfiber is you can clean effectively without added chemicals. There may be instances where you’re used to using powdered cleaners like Comet or Ajax but that may not be necessary with our Microfiber Scrubbing Sponge. Use the microfiber sponge for a few days then toss it in the laundry and wash it in a washing machine with other microfiber items.
