Construction: Our 16x16 Buff™ Detail 400 is the best Microfiber Towel for car detailing. It is an economically priced, yet premium microfiber auto detailing towel. They feature one side of plush terry microfiber and a second side of medium terry microfiber. It's made from 400 GSM split microfiber that's an 80% Polyester / 20% Polyamide blend. The open spaces in the fibers created by the splitting process are what give the towels its ability to hold dust, dirt, and excess wax and sealers. It also gives the cloth its ability to absorb and hold liquid. Each towel has rounded corners to prevent curling. They're finished with satin piped edges to eliminate fraying and prevent the edges from scratching delicate painted surfaces. When cared for properly our 16"x16" Buff™ Detail 400 Microfiber Towels can last hundreds of washings.
Uses: The possibilities with our 16"x16" Buff™ Detail 400 Microfiber Towels are almost endless. It works great for auto detailing, especially for buffing or cutting wax after it’s applied. The super soft and dense towel does a fantastic job of picking up excess dirt and contaminants and storing them in the plush fibers. The 400 GSM makes it the perfect microfiber towel for car glass cleaning, because if it was too plush it might leave excess amounts of lint. Due to its heavy weight and dense microfiber it’s also great as a small drying towel for painted surfaces and windows. Another use for the towel is inside your car, use it to dust off dash boards, cloth or leather seats, and upholstery. It is also perfect to keep it in the center console ready to absorb spills.. This is the best car cleaning towel because there’s just so much of it! The more microfiber the better, and this towel has plenty of it. The positively charged split fibers attract negatively charged dust and dirt like a magnet, because of this you can use the microfiber towels as a green alternative to using a cleaning cloth treated with chemicals or a (chemical) spray and wipe method. Trust us, these are much more versatile than the traditional auto chamois.
Method: Depending on what you’re using it for, you may want to fold our 16"x16" Buff™ Detail 400 Microfiber Towel twice. This gives you eight cleaning surfaces with each towel. You may do this when buffing or polishing. When drying it works best to make one pass with the microfiber towel like you would with a chamois, this is usually the easiest way to leave painted surfaces and windows streak free. When the towel becomes saturated you can wring it out, microfiber does a great job of releasing liquid.
